AGENCY - art, life and society is concerned with the social, political and the how and why of living.

AGENCY Director:

AGENCY – art, life and society, is a European style curatorial project based in Yorkshire UK & works locally,
regionally & internationally. It builds on the regional & international success of previous events, Yomu Visual Arts
Festival in 2007 and CRUNCHTIME2010: artists’ responses to global issues in early 2010.

Our aims are: to promote high quality artwork concerned with the social, political and environmental and the ‘how and why of living’;
foster partnerships in the region to help deliver projects across Yorkshire. & elsewhere; to facilitate sharing of resources and ideas
across the region; to engage with audiences in new ways through innovative strategies for art delivery, presentation and sites,
and working with artists; to develop art practice in the region in line with Europe & the International. AGENCY aims to affect the arts
through its concerns, its innovative ways of working and presenting high quality socially engaged artwork. AGENCY will present this work
internationally through contacts and e-catalog and present a critical profile from the region to an international audience.
